Two Thirds of Gamblers Have Lost Interest in Horse Racing Over Past Five Years

As the horse racing industry prepares for The Cambridgeshire Meeting at Newmarket next week, a new study conducted by a leading supplier of anti-doping products has revealed that as many as two thirds of horse racing punters have lost interest in the sport over the last five years. ‘Lack of trust in the industry’ and the ‘rise in popularity’ amongst the masses emerged as the most common reasons respondents have admitted their dedication has waned.
