The Challenge
The founder of a start-up business known as the Brush Belt Company approached Versapak looking for help in designing and creating ten bags that specifically catered for professional makeup artists. Unable to find anything suitable on the open market and aware of the Versapak bespoke solutions service, Sally Beighton approached the team directly to outline her requirements. She needed each section of the bag to be a specific size for each brush and also required two clear pockets at the front; one for eye shadow and one for cotton wool. Bearing in mind that makeup artists usually need to work to strict deadlines, the pockets in the bag had to be easily accessible so that the necessary brushes could be called upon for quick use without the need for time consuming searches. The production lead time also needed to be short and with affordable costs in line with a start-up business’s budget.
The Solution
Following a period of discussion between Sally and the bespoke solutions team to determine exactly what it was she wanted, Versapak created a prototype bag that appeared to meet all of the necessary specifications. Once Sally had approved the design and the initial prototype, Versapak then went on to produce 10 bags, which elicited the following feedback: “I have been very pleased with the service I’ve received from Versapak” said Sally Beighton, founder of the Brush Belt Company. “Their knowledge and experience has made the whole experience very easy, and I am very happy with the final product; it fits my needs perfectly. What is Happening Now?
Sally and The Brush Belt Company has since returned to Versapak to request a new fulfillment order, which includes one or two small amendments to the original bags based on user feedback. The bespoke solutions team has been happy to accommodate these adjustments to fit customer requirements. Following on from Sally’s first bag, Versapak has also made subsequent bags for The Brush Belt Company.
