Jeremy Graham

The old £1 coin will no longer be legal tender from the 16th October as it becomes fully replaced by the new 12-sided version.

With the public in uproar about receiving the old coins in their change, government is asking businesses need to work harder to be ready for the influx of the old coins this week.
