Versapak is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October 2020,
to help 'prevent the preventable'.
We've teamed up with Breast Cancer UK to help drive charitable fundraising efforts to donate to a good cause. We're providing a free bag for collecting cash and IOU's to keep your fundraising money safe. '25 Saves Lives' is the latest campaign from Breast Cancer UK to keep prevention work thriving. 25 signifies the 25% of breast cancer cases that are preventable and charity fundraising efforts that involves some form of exercise and the long-term commitment to *keeping fit can save 20% of those; so it seems obvious that aiming for '25 Saves Lives'. Why not think of your own fundraising idea using the number '25' as your goal.

You can help
We want you to join in the efforts, raising money for charity and we will share ideas here to collectively raise money. You may have recently received one of our Pink Donation pouches. We want you to raise money and collect it in our cash bags, just let us know how you're getting on. If you want to let us know your fundraising ideas, please complete the form.
Tell us about Your Idea
Our very own Versapak employee Ruth has been busy making some masks to sell for monetary donations. We're very impressed with her efforts, the masks were instantly a hit and sold out in one day! Thanks to Ruth, we raised £120, all proceeds will be going to the Breast Cancer Awareness charity. Thank you Ruth!
Versapak will be hosting a charity bake-off whereby our employees will bake cakes for monetary donations. The idea is simple, we ask employees to bake their own - Mary Berry style cakes and offer them for sale. We will then invite our neighbouring organisations in the business park to come and buy a slice with all monies going to the Breast Cancer Awareness charity. Individuals can also judge how good the cake is based on presentation and taste and the winner receives a prize.
Are you in need of some inspiration to raise donations? Why not think of a goal, it might be health related, it may need reaching heights never achieved before. If you think of a theme such as number, colour, location, event and even sport, maybe it could be applied in different ways. For example, October is the 10th month and could inspire the 10 mile run. Pink is the ribbon used to signify the Breast Cancer Awareness charity and could be a feature of the cake baking competition. We'll be mentioning some of the best ideas here on this page so check back every now and then for more insights.
Versapak will also Donate to Charity
While you're busy fundraising, Versapak also want to show support for the charity and we will donate £1 for every cash bag sold in October 2020. Versapak's range of retail cash bags are used widely for moving cash in a tamper evident manner. October is the biggest month for selling Versapak Cash Bags. As we move closer to Christmas, more and more organisations will want to buy these for their cash security needs, making this a truly worthwhile time to donate a portion of sales to Breast Cancer Awareness.
